Resident Evil 4 to Hit 2010

It’s been confirmed by ShockTillYouDrop.com that the next Resident Evil film, Resident Evil: Afterlife, has been given a release date, late 2010.
The last film did leave things open for a continuation but it is not yet confirmed that W.S. Anderson will be back as director. Sony though plans to deliver the goods September 17, 2010. Stay tuned!
Men In Black 3 on the way?
It sure as hell looks like we’re getting another Men In Black flick. I’m down, but let’s hope that Sony can get Tommy and Will back on board, because I just don’t see how anyone else could pull this thing off. Read on for more info.
All New Stuff for Underworld: The Rise of the Lycans

BD’s been busy today. Seems that a bunch of new images are up for Underworld 3, as well as the original trailer and the official update. I know I’m one of the few that love the cheesiness of the first two films, and here’s to hoping the tradition continued. Read on for some info and the link to the official website.
‘Quantum’ Destroys Previous Bond Record

Looks like we can all breath easier knowing that the economy has not completely crippled Hollywood’s output of films (or, is that a bad thing?). ‘Quantum of Solace’ pulled in a ton of cash this weekend, easily taking the top spot and proving that even 22 films into a series Bond can still deliver. Read on for more on the weekend totals and the reactions the film has been getting.
HD toons get Ho, Wu Voices

Any anime fans in here? I am a huge anime fan, and think that it’s great to see, “cartoons” as some of my friends call them, films/series where deeper issues are explored than many of the mainstream films. Give me a moment. OK. Fanboyism in check. Well, it seems that Sony is working on their first original high-def animation. Read on for more info about the ‘toon’ and the voices of the characters.
Sony Marvels At Spider-Man 4 Possibilities

Back in May, Cinematical ran a scoop on the Spider-Man 4 script, reporting that James Vanderbuilt (Zodiac) had recently turned a draft into the studio and that the story-arc was so big, it could easily be realized across two films. Sony, still trying to wash away the bad buzz from Spider-Man 3, saw this as a way to save money and possibly get the franchise back on track, as it wasn’t a Raimi/Raimi collaboration (but really, S3 was all Avi Arad’s fault), so they started negotiations almost immediately.
“Wanted” scribes devoured by “Creatures”

Seeing as Horrorholic posted the Wanted Review, I found this bit of news interesting. It seems the duo (Michael Brandt and Derek Haas), writers of such films as Wanted, 3:10 to Yuma and 2 Fast 2 Furious, have written a film called “All Creatures Great and Small.” In the film animals control the planet and human’s are no longer the top of the food chain.
