Mad Love (1935)

Let’s start this off with a quick stroll down memory lane that most of you won’t care about. I remember popping in Casablanca and getting my first experience with Peter Lorre. The guy just had that presence that you can’t really describe, but when he’s on the screen you can’t look away. Rating: ★★★★★★★★★½

OK. I know I posted something, somewhere about this upcoming film before, but I’m not going to wade through pages of articles to link it. The short of that article was, one of the best modern actors, Denzel Washington, is set to star in an upcoming thriller entitled ‘Matarese Circle’. The story sounds interesting, but was really Denzel hopping on board that peaked my interest. Well, cinemaphiles rejoice, we have another reason to get our butts in the chairs. David Cronenberg (Videodrome, The Fly, Eastern Promises) is in talks to direct the film, and if you don’t know who Cronenberg is…I don’t know how to help you. Read on for more info.
