Paddy Considine + Jason Statham = Win

One of my favorite actors (Considine) and one of the most likeable (Statham) teaming up for a serial killer thriller sounds ok to me. Considine is one of the best actors out there and hopefully this helps people discover him. He is great in everything he’s in.
The Mechanic To Be Remade
Simon West (Tomb Raider, When A Stranger Calls) is not exactly a name thatfills me with hope when it comes to this remake. He started out with Con Air, which is a decent cheesy action movie, but has been pretty terrible since. The only saving grace is that Jason Statham is set to replace the legendary Charles Bronson. Hopefully they don’t make this cheesy as hell like The Transporter movies.
Red Band Trailer For Crank 2. Pure Heaven

Holy shit. The new trailer for Crank 2: High Voltage is up at First Showing.Net and it has just made my whole week. Looks like it will be even more over the top and stupid than the first. Can’t wait.
‘13′ Is Sounding Better And Better

The American remake of Gela Babluani’s 13 Tzameti keeps sounding more and more interesting with every new cast member announced. Variety is reporting that Ray Winstone and Ray Liotta have just been added to an already top notch cast of Mickey Rourke, Jason Statham, and Sam Riley. We also have clarification on who will be in what roles. Read more for the details.
Mickey Rourke. Jason Statham. Russian Roulette. Interested yet?
According to variety.com, Mickey Rourke (Sin City, Angel Heart) and Jason Statham (The Transporter, Crank) have signed on to star in a remake of Géla Babluani’s 13 Tzameti along with 50 Cent and Sam Riley. Bubliani will be writing and directing the English language remake of his 2006 French thriller.
Fox Reboots Comics

It seems the fine folks over at Fox have decided that several films needed redos and spin-offs. Let’s get this out of the way, shall we? X-men is an excellent franchise, and with looming spin-offs for Wolverine and Magneto, you’d wonder where they could go next. Well, wonder no more my friends, as I have some rumors about where the X-men industry is heading as well as potential news on a reboot of one of the most boring and pathetic comic book films ever made (and, I’m not talking about Man-Thing, but thanks for that Lionsgate). Read on for the rumors.
Transportation Is A Precise Business

With Jason Statham getting the insane amount of work he has been over the past few years, and with his latest film with Guy Ritchie, Revolver, being ignored by the masses because its been deemed incomprehensible (it isn’t), it was only a matter of time before he returned to the film series that introduced him as a headlining action star in America. And no, I’m not talking about Ghosts of Mars.
