Bruce Willis and Morgan Freeman to star in DC Comics ‘Red’

I am not too familiar with the source material, but from what I have read….The main character is Paul Moses(to be played by Willis), who is a CIA agent in seclusion who has minimal contact with people. When a new head of the CIA takes over, and learns of Moses’s existence and activities, he is repulsed and sends three assassins to terminate him. But, the attempt is fruitless and Moses informs the CIA that is status has gone from green to red….Sounds pretty good…
Ryan Reynolds is The Green Lantern!

Looks like “Van the Man” will put on some green tighs and star in DC Comic’s The Green Lantern.
Warner Bros. puts the breaks on all DC projects.

If you don’t know what DC is….DC is DC comics, whose roster includes – Superman, Batman, The Green Lantern, The Flash, and Wonder Woman, to name a few. Warner Bros. has put all of DC’s projects on hold for the time being. And, yes kids…this will delay the eventual sequel for The Dark Knight….
New, extended ‘Watchmen’ trailer

Here is an extended trailer for ‘Watchmen’. Enjoy!
Official trailer for ‘Watchmen’

Here is the trailer for one of the most anticipated comic book movies for next year. Watchmen is a DC limited comic series, and is set in an alternate 1985 where superheroes are apart of the social fabric, and the U.S. is on the brink of nuclear war with the Soviet Union. When one of the prominent U.S. “superheroes” is murdered, a group of retired superheroes band together and form the Watchmen.
Routh to return in ‘Superman’ reboot

With all of the negative reviews for ‘Superman Returns’, the franchise is getting a good old fashioned reboot. They are taking the one positive thing from ‘Superman Returns’ and plugging it into the reboot, Brandon Routh. Routh will once again depict the Man of Steel on the screen. Please read on for more details.
The Wachowski’s Get Stretchy with Keanu

Sounds like the Wachowski Brothers and Keanu Reeves could be reuniting to bring the DC Comics superhero Plastic Man to the big screen. It was reported that the Wachowski’s had wrote a treatment up for the film before they became megastars with The Matrix, and that script could be the basis for the new film. It seems with their new found pull in the industry, they’re attempting to go forward with it, with Reeves in the title role.
While nothing is set in stone, if it does turn out to be happening, it could definitely be a load of fun. This could be DC’s answer to Marvel’s upcoming Ant-Man film, which Edgar Wright is attached to. All superhero films really don’t need to be serious, and I’m certainly up for a few campy ones.
