More Eastern Promises To be Made?
Cronenberg and Mortensen together have so far equaled gold in my opinion. I really like A History Of Violence and Eastern Promises is one of my favorite movies. That’s why the news that they are planning on re-teaming to comtinue Eastern Promises has me giddy like a school girl. The ending was left plenty open enough for a seqeul.
Cronenberg Stalking ‘Matarese Circle’
OK. I know I posted something, somewhere about this upcoming film before, but I’m not going to wade through pages of articles to link it. The short of that article was, one of the best modern actors, Denzel Washington, is set to star in an upcoming thriller entitled ‘Matarese Circle’. The story sounds interesting, but was really Denzel hopping on board that peaked my interest. Well, cinemaphiles rejoice, we have another reason to get our butts in the chairs. David Cronenberg (Videodrome, The Fly, Eastern Promises) is in talks to direct the film, and if you don’t know who Cronenberg is…I don’t know how to help you. Read on for more info.
