The Expendables Gets Even More Awesome
On top of the already ridiculous cast announced for The Expendables, consisting of Sylvester Stallone, Dolph Lundgren, Jet Li, Jason Statham, Mickey Rourke, Forest Whitaker, Randy Couture, it was reported on Aintitcool.com that Arnold Schwarzenegger will have a small role in the movie playing himself. They also reported that Ben Kingsley is out and Eric Roberts will be replacing him. If this isn’t already great enough, LatinoReview.com is reporting that the cool as hell Danny Trejo has signed on as well.
Machete To Finally Happen In 09?
Over on Bloody-Disgusting.com there is a rumor posted on the front page that the Weinsteins have made Machetea priority for later this year. No word on whether it will be a theatrical release or direct to dvd but I’m not sure I can see Robert Rodriguez (Sin City, From Dusk Till Dawn) doing a direct to dvd movie. Read on for the trailer (which was the best part of Grindhouse).
