Two Trailers For Kick-Ass
The second trailer for Kick-Ass has been released and it’s absolutely brilliant. It introduces you to Hit-Girl and is a redband trailer. I’ve also included the original trailer for your enjoyment.
Inception Trailer
A new trailer for Christopher Nolan’s latest film has been released. Between the two trailers, reading up on the movie a bit, and the summary on IMDb I still have no idea what’s going on in the movie but with Nolan directing and the cast I will be at the front of the line to see it.
Favreau and Downey Jr. to Make Cowboys & Aliens
Jon Favreau may be joining up with Robert Downey Jr. again for one of the coolest sounding projects to come along in quite a while. This has been floating around for years but sounds like it could finally be happening.
Boondock Saints: All Saints Day Red Band Trailer
Troy Duffy somehow got his shit together and actually made this happen after 10 years. It may be a too little, too late but is still worth a dvd rental. While a bit over rated, the first was entertaining. The trailer for this doesn’t look great though and it was Willem Dafoe and David Della Rocco who made the first so good. Without them this could be pretty bad. We’ll find out in November.
Ben Ketai To Direct 30 Days Of Night Sequel
According to Bloody-Disgusting, Ben Ketai will be directing the sequel to 30 Days Of Night. Steve Niles and Ben Ketai wrote the story together. Stella Olsen returns as the main character but will not be played by Melissa George (lame). It will be called “30 Days Of Night: Dark Days”.
Red Band Trailer For Legion
I’ve feels like I have been waiting for this one forever. I started reading about it about 2-3 years ago. While we still have about 6 months to wait the trailer looks good and should hold me over until then. Paul Bettany stars as the archangel Michael come to Earth to help humanity in a last stand against the angels. It hits theaters January 2010.
Trailer for Boll’s Rampage
As much as it pains me to say this, Boll has actually made something that looks good. I may actually have to give the man some of my hard earned money. That hurts.
Red Band Trailer For Zombieland
As one of the few people who aren’t sick of zombie movies yet and one of Woody Harrelson’s only remaining fans I can’t really describe how excited this trailer gets me. Like petrified wood levels of excited but even more so.
Whiteout Trailer
Kate Beckinsale is hot and Antarctica is about as cool (pun intended) a setting as possible but this still doesn’t look that good. A dvd watch at best IMO

Greatest Short Ever – Treevenge
Jason Eisener, who directed the great fake trailer “Hobo With A Shotgun” that one the Grindhouse fake trailer contest, has returned with what just may be the greatest short of all time. Do yourself a favor and watch it.
Flame And Citron Trailer

Paddy Considine + Jason Statham = Win
One of my favorite actors (Considine) and one of the most likeable (Statham) teaming up for a serial killer thriller sounds ok to me. Considine is one of the best actors out there and hopefully this helps people discover him. He is great in everything he’s in.
Red Band Trailer For Jennifer’s Body
The red band trailer for Jennifer’s Body is up and it looks like it could be surprisingly entertaining. Megan Fox looks kind of like an Ewok but she is plenty healthy enough to want to see nude. I’ll be tuning in. How about you?
Trailer For The Box
The trailer for Richard Kelly’s (Donnie Darko) The Box has been released and it looks great. Based on a short story by horror master Richard Matheson (if you haven’t read I Am Legend and consider yourself a horror fan punch yourself in the face immediately) and starring Cameron Diaz and James Marsden it is slated to hit theaters on 10/30.
Lady Snowblood: Love Song Of Vengeance (1974) – DVD Review
Love Song Of Vengeance, like most sequels, falls well short of it’s predecessor but unlike most is still a fairly entertaining movie. Dropping the vengeance theme for a political one and toning down a bit on the carnage (don’t worry, there is still plenty of blood spray and severed limbs) and adding historical political intrigue, Love Song tries to reach just a bit too far for it’s own good. The incredibly simple but effective story of the first works much better than the over reaching plot used here.

Final Trailer For Sci-Fi Thriller Pandorum
I don’t think I really have to say anything about this one. Watch the trailer and you’ll be sold. It hits theaters September 4th. I’ll be there opening weekend.
A Perfect Trailer For A Perfect Getaway
David Twohy’s latest, A Perfect Getaway, now has a trailer and it looks pretty damn decent. Most of Twohy’s movies aren’t very good but after Pitch Black I will give anything of his a chance and I absolutely love Timothy Olyphant. Seth Bullock is one of my favorite characters ever. The trailer does a very good job of selling the movie and filling the movie with some damn attractive women doesn’t hurt either. It will hit theaters on August 14th.

Anyone who likes giant animals attacking people is in for a treat with the release of the 80’s throwback Chaw from Korea. A giant wild boar is attacking people and a famous hunter is called in to track it down and kill it. Sounds like cheesy goodness to me.

The trailer for Daniel Benmayor’s survival horror flick Paintball has been posted online and looks generic and entertaining. I really enjoy these movies and will surely be checking this one out.
