McG’s upcoming film “Terminator Salvation” will feature the musical stylings of Danny Elfman for the score.

MTV News got the scoop on the red carpet of the Critic’s Choice Awards as Elman informed them that he just started his on the film. When asked about using Brad Fiede’ls original theme this is what he said:

“I think if it comes up and it seems appropriate, we will [use it],” Elman said. “And if it doesn’t, we [won't]. I never really know what to expect when I begin other than just kind of get into it and have fun. Especially a movie like “T4” – just have fun. So that’s what I intend to do.”

Along with Elfman on the soundtrack, a track from Common will also be included. Common is in the film alongside Christian Bale as a freedom fighter.
