Chronicles of the Captain?

The writers of the ‘Chronicles of Narnia’ movies will write the new ‘Captain America’ movie.  Hopefully, they will write a nice action-packed and violent script.

Chronicles of Narnia” scribes Christopher Markus and Stephen McFeely have been hired to pen Marvel’s “Captain America : The First Avenger”.

Er. Um. Well. Yeah. So am I in the minority when I respond to this news with an unenthusiastic ‘really’? Marvel couldn’t have found anyone better to pen what’s supposed to be a balls-out superhero pic? And will the shield talk?

I liked the first ‘Narnia’ flick, so I hope they do a good job with this….I love me some Captain America and would love Marvel to keep the streak of good flicks going.  ‘Iron Man’ and ‘The Incredible Hulk’ were a breathe of fresh air to some of their predecessors.  ‘Spiderman 3′, ‘Ghost Rider’, ‘Fantastic Four:Rise of the Silver Surfer’, all were just woeful.  I am a Marvel fan, but some of the stuff they have allowed makes me sad.  But, as I said they are on a mini streak right now…KEEP IT UP!
