With all of the negative reviews for ‘Superman Returns’, the franchise is getting a good old fashioned reboot. They are taking the one positive thing from ‘Superman Returns’ and plugging it into the reboot, Brandon Routh. Routh will once again depict the Man of Steel on the screen. Please read on for more details.

DC Comics President Paul Levitz that Routh is still the Man of Steel. They’re happy with him and more so, probably can’t be rooted going out in search of a fitting replacement - we all remember how long it took to find Routh, right?

“Last week Brandon Routh has come around the offices in New York and Los Angeles as of late to talk about Superman and what we want to do” . “Everyone is waiting for [Chris] Nolan to sign on for another Batman, once that happens, the release date for Superman and all other future projects will follow.”

I personally was not a fan of ‘Superman Returns’ I thought it was slow paced(even for a starter movie for a comic book franchise). My wife and I watched this and waited for the pace to quicken and the action to start. Needless to say, it didn’t happen. I did however like how Routh portrayed Clark Kent/Superman. I wonder if they will have Lex Luthor be the villain in the film? Personally, I would like to see Doomsday, but we shall see. What ever the case, I just hope they don’t produce another snore fest.
