Well, it’s about time if you ask me. Â I’ve been waiting forever for a film based on this series. Â An original news article can be found here, thanks to our good buddy Morbid. Â If Morbid wasn’t scared enough about the triple-threat writing/directing/producing, then he can now rest easy knowing genre favorite, Brittany Snow (Prom Night remake) will take on a leading role for the video-game adaption. Â How awesome is that? Â Everyone involved above the line gives the movie less credibility than Rob Zombie remaking Halloween (shudder). Â Too bad too, because the games were really, really creepy. Â Read on for what they’re looking for in the casting.
Our buddies over at BD got their hands on some casting break downs for the upcoming film shoot.  Anyone you know that would fit?

Borderland was easily the best film from the After Dark slate last year (not that that’s some badge of honor or anything), and while The Hills Have Eyes II was terrible, Weisz proved with Grimm Love that he can direct. Of course Hollywood could have certainly changed him, but you never know. Hopefully it’s at least rated R.
