
The David Duchovny and Tea Leoni-owned company And Then Productions will be producing ‘Born to Rock’ written by Jess Walter and Mark Steilen.  This sounds like it could be an amusing film based on the premise, and it actually does have some cultural significance.  Read on for some plot details.
The project revolves around a group of struggling, aging rock musicians who, because of a mixup in their demo tape, end up catching a record exec’s attention for a children’sÂ
song written on a lark, then find unlikely success as a Wiggles-type children’s band.
I can just see it now, washed up bands cough Metallica cough, playing in pink bunny suites for kids. Â Damn. Â I would totally pay to see that ‘after-party’. Â
