Mirrors First Three Minutes

Here is the R-Rated first three minutes of the new horror film, Mirrors.

Juicy.

Directed and written by Alexandre Aja (High tension, The Hills Have Eyes), the man many (me) call the savior of modern horror. I have high hopes for this film. Mirrors stars Kiefer Sutherland, a man whose family is being terrorized by an evil force who uses mirrors as a gateway into our world. Check out the Red Band trailer after the jump:

Mirrors hits theaters on August 15th.

    Oh hell yeah!
Awesome creepiness. This one is going on my ‘to-do’ list.

Aja hasn’t let me down yet. I am not a die-hard fanboy of High Tension, but I LOVED the visual style along with the gore. The Hills Have Eyes remake is actually my favorite of the two.

I fucking love Aja. I swear, I have never been so surprised by a film then what I was by Haute Tension. I had heard the buzz around it, just how brutal it was but nothing can prepare you for the carnage that ensues in that film.

Hills Have Eyes was good, certainly better than the original. The only problem with Aja’s domestic work, and his future domestic work is just how much America censors as far as films. This is a man that is willing to push cinema to the limit but is unable to here.

I’m looking forward to Mirrors if only because of Aja’s directing of the film and my love of any genre film with Sutherland in it.

I’m really looking forward to this movie. The casting looks good – i think Kiefer’s gonna be excellent as Ben Carson, and I’m not a huge Kiefer fan.

I love Aja’s visual style. This films looks beautifully shot. I’m gonna see it. I mean, i might see part of it with my hands over my eyes, but I am totally gonna see it.

Have any of you seen this movie yet? It’s definitely on my to-go-see list, at the top. Just curious.

  7. Morbid says:

I have already seen it. It sucks ass. The first three minutes are the only good part of the entire film.

So…..should I just wait until it comes out on DVD??
