Park Circus are to be re-releasing the recently remastered 180 minute cut of Sergio Leone’s masterpiece throughout the Uk this August.

London - BFI Southbank - from 1 August
Edinburgh - Filmhouse - from 1 August
Norwich - Cinema City - from 3 August
Bristol - Watershed - from 15 August
Newcastle - Tyneside - from 15 August
Workington - Plaza Cinema - 20 August
Dublin - Irish Film Centre - from 22 August
Liverpool - FACT - 5 September
Dundee - DCA - from 5 September
Glasgow - GFT - from 7 September
York - City Screen - 7 September
Leicester - Phoenix Arts - from 8 September
Bradford - National Media Museum - from 12 September
Manchester - Cornerhouse - 14 September
Stafford Film Theatre - 9 October
Dartington - Barn - 12 October
Belfast - QFT - from 24 October
London - Riverside Studios - 26 October
Liverpool - Philharmonic Hall - 5 December

We expected others to follow. If your favourite cinema is not included, give them a shout and perhaps they will schedule. It is available to screen on new 35mm prints and via Digital Cinema. Note that the first two films in the ‘Dollars’ trilogy are also available, via 35mm prints, to cinemas nationwide.

    Here’s hoping. I mean it’ll happen eventually anyway, they wouldn’t have all these prints made only to use them in two theaters.

    They produced new prints of For A Few Dollars More too. But that’s just for London and not nationwide. :(

    I’m only an hour and a half away, but I wouldn’t drive there for one film. for a festival of convention I definitely would.

    Many thanks John, I’ll add those details in to the main post. I’m currently trying to bug Harbor Lights in Southampton to show the film. Here’s hoping! I’d love to see my personal favorite For A Few Dollars More on the big screen too but I doubt they’ll screen that one. No harm in me begging them though. :p
