Park Circus are to be re-releasing the recently remastered 180 minute cut of Sergio Leone’s masterpiece throughout the Uk this August.

It is available to screen on new 35mm prints and via Digital Cinema. Note that the first two films in the ‘Dollars’ trilogy are also available, via 35mm prints, to cinemas nationwide.

Aug 3, 2008 at 3:08 pm -Here’s hoping. I mean it’ll happen eventually anyway, they wouldn’t have all these prints made only to use them in two theaters.
They produced new prints of For A Few Dollars More too. But that’s just for London and not nationwide.

Aug 5, 2008 at 7:22 am -Many thanks John, I’ll add those details in to the main post. I’m currently trying to bug Harbor Lights in Southampton to show the film. Here’s hoping! I’d love to see my personal favorite For A Few Dollars More on the big screen too but I doubt they’ll screen that one. No harm in me begging them though. :p
