Just got some info today for the upcoming ‘The Mutant Chronicles‘ film. I cannot believe I hadn’t heard of this before. The Mutant Chronicles follows Major Mitch Hunter (Thomas Jane) and Brother Samuel (Ron Pearlman) as they fight against a deadly hoard of necromutants. Sounds like a non-stop splatterfest to me. I will see anything Thomas Jane is in and almost anything involving Ron Pearlman, so I’m stoked. Throw in John Malkovich, Constantine, the commander of the army and I’m all set.
Here’s hoping for a release this year as it says 2008 it’s supposed to come out on the film’s webpage here!

It had been geting horrible “Will end up straigth to video” rep but it looks prety fucking decent to me, and the cast is the shit. I like the trailer despite using The Crow’s score but hey, at least it’s not Requiem for a Dream’s, even importan productions over use that score as if it was stock music.

I know there is some buttcam video of a large chunk of the movie, I remember seeing that a wile ago and it looked quite cool.

It looks like they redid Chronicles of Riddock…right.
