Seeing as Horrorholic posted the Wanted Review, I found this bit of news interesting.  It seems the duo (Michael Brandt and Derek Haas), writers of such films as Wanted, 3:10 to Yuma and 2 Fast 2 Furious, have written a film called “All Creatures Great and Small.”  In the film animals control the planet and human’s are no longer the top of the food chain.

Brandt said “Creatures” is a “big, fun, fantastic ‘Jurassic Park’-type movie.”

“Because of people’s inability to quench their thirst for oil and consumption of resources, we basically ruin the planet, and the planet fights back,” Brandt said. “And part of that is the quick evolution of many of the animals.” 

We’ve all seen Planet of the Apes, and we all know what happens when humans ruin the earth and the earth fights back, so we know how the story goes.  But, another apoclyptic film with humans living in forts, trying to survive against animals, count me in.  Hopefully more new will emerge as the production draws near.
